According to the Constitution, all that you have to do is be old enough, born here, and resident for the past 14 months. That’s it.
The notion was that any good citizen should have the opportunity to aspire to the highest government office in the land. Then, reality should set in, that being; this is the most complex job in the world. The challenges in scope and scale are enormous demanding superior skill, knowledge, experience and character.
When you apply for a job, you start by considering the responsibility and associated duties and tasks, right?
What is the job of President of the United States? The President is the chief executive of federal government enterprise in the republic that is a democracy governed by Constitutional law.
