POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (CBS Tampa) — Believe in the power of poop. It’s an initiative being pushed by one South Florida energy company, which is now on the edge of being approved in Fort Lauderdale to help generate home electricity. Power Green Energy, a Pompano Beach start-up hoping to turn sludge from waste-water treatment plants into renewable electricity for the state, is awaiting word today from the Fort Lauderdale City Commission to approve a rezoning request that would implement the system by the middle of next year. From Technorati Woman: Along with most of the country, I am sitting here shocked to hear a "not guilty" verdict. A Florida jury just found Casey Anthony not guilty of murder in the June 16, 2008 death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee Marie Anthony. Breakdown of charges: Casey Anthony has been found not guilty of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony. The jury did not convict Casey of either first degree murder or manslaughter. The Energy Department announced this morning that the Obama administration will release 30 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve - supposedly to "offset oil supply disruptions in the Middle East." if you believe it's really to ""offset oil supply disruptions in the Middle East" and not anything other than a purely political decision that will eventually result in gas prices skyrocketing, I've got some swampland in Florida to sell you that you're gonna' really love. First Photos Of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords Released
Politisite is reporting that Congresswoman Giffords will be leaving the Rehabilitation Hospital in Houston and return home for Outpatient Rehab a week from now. Additionally, two photos where released if a Smiling Giffords. The first photos of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords since she was shot in the head in a mass shooting in Tucson about five months ago were released early Sunday. The photos appeared on her Facebook page. Both pictures show the congresswoman outside. In one she is alone and smiling at the camera, her hair trimmed short with the skin on the side of her head slightly discolored but with no clear sign of any scarring.
